Marina Heredia has a cante that stands out because of its versatility, her ability to work with top-notch artists and her unmatchable capability to perform in any genre. After seven months recording at the sierra de Cádiz, Marina Heredia released her first solo effort, produced by Pepe de Lucía. The album has ten tracks, of which three were written by Luis Carrasco (17 years old): the tangos and two balads. The alegrías are by Pepe de Lucía's son. She finishes of the album with a song that is a mixture of bulerías, tarantos, alegrías, tangos, rumbas, flamenco balads based on a piece by Federico García Lorca with collabortions from Enrique Soto, Herminia, La Tana y Cañizares. Marina Heredia's cante overflows with sweetness and good taste. It is an exquisite mix of a contemporary jondura.
